Let’s agree on something… let’s not get rid of the messy part.

That’s where the heart is. The foundation. What you’re actually built on. If you skip over digging through the mess, what makes your creative human heart beat, you’re missing the most important pieces.

But sometimes we opt for the easy button. Instead of sitting with it for a minute, we’re compelled to move faster. If we have the option to move quickly, we often do, in spite of uncovering details worth paying attention to. In service of speed and instant gratification, we sacrifice marinating in our feelings. Letting those evolve into something that could be.

It’s been an interesting journey the last few years. When we started DEEO we knew technology was changing fast. AI was always a part of that conversation, but I don’t think we ever anticipated how much the creative work we were doing was going to evolve and be impacted—well, at least how quickly.

So the question we’re sitting with now is: how do we build creative partnerships when AI has become a third collaborator?
