Since starting DEEO, we have been laser-focused on doing the best creative work possible and staying small. We often get questions from fellow colleagues and clients about our size. There can sometimes be this sense that because we’re small, it’s a weakness—and there’s curiosity around how we handle large, complex projects. We are completely honest and transparent—we never shy away from our size because we embrace it and view it as a strength.
We see our ability to tap into our network of incredibly talented colleagues, when it’s appropriate and right for the project and the client, as a benefit. It keeps things efficient, streamlined, and clients are not paying for work or asses in seats that they don’t need. And the work is better. A full-service agency might wear all the hats, but are they doing them well—or just checking a box? If they’re just checking a box, a client should feel empowered to call it out.
